He drives a Prius when he drives, but the exigencies of his appearances have put him in other vehicles.
Basically, this is a red herring question. Intent - to discredit Gore as a spokesman for alternative energy and conservation. Let me lay out your talking point for examinaton. Gore may have been seen in a limo, he's taken planes to travel, sometimes private planes!, therefore, anything he is says is discredited.

I don't know what he drives, if he drives himself, nor do I care. After his chad fiasco, Florida bull, and debate bull crap in 2000, other than being a human being does anyone really give a crap about Al Gore?

He used to always be driven around in a limo. But if he runs for president, he's such a phony, he'll probably get a little car.
Of course, he flies private jets. But, all the environmental wackos do that.
