x-box disk error--help?

what can i do to fix a game error on my x-box??
error comes up for audio cd's, games & dvd's.Help??

You burned out your laser- you can get it fixed at some gameshops (like 79 bucks) or save all your saves and buy a new xbox- and transfer your info over to it via memory card

Samething happened to me- sucks


***also your local game shop will still trade in your xbox for a small fee even though it doesn't work
