Latest research indicates that humans are born sexually hardwired.
All humans fall on a seven point scale that runs from 0 - 6. The key scores are:
0= 100% hetrosexual
6 = 100%$ homosexual
People scoring 0 or 6 are hardwired - they can not respond to either the opposite or the same sex. Trying to get them orgasm if you are the wrong sex, for them, is a waste of time.
But if you have ever masturbated add 1 point to your score. You have orgasmed with your own sex present.
People ranking 5 will try and condition themselves - they have a choice to what sex they will respond to The number of people who choose to be gay is miniscule. Most people on the 5 ranking will struggle with their sexual identities. They may choose to be gay but will respond if a person of the opposite sex rings their bell. These are the people who normally have a mid life breakdown and then move in with a same sex partner. People in the 5 ranking will be aggro hetrosexuals because under most conditions they can be stimulated by homos.
People falling in the 2 - 4 range will respond to same or opposite sex depending on stimulation. They normally decide to be hetrosexual.
Gay or technologicaly inclined? If you can respond to a sex toy like a blow up doll or battery driven vibrator you are probably in the 3 range.

Well gay people can't really choose if they are going to be straight or gay.. It's like you can't help it but think guys are hott... Well neither can a gay guy.. And even though they are gay they are still good people and they are usually nicer than some other people... And it's not like they can help it that they like the same sex they are just born that way.. It's how God made them and they accept themselves for it.

Not an easy question here!
I am straight, but I think it's just the way the brain was wired up when the baby was created. My opinion is why would anyone deliberately choose to be gay and then be discriminated against, hassled, ridiculed, and attacked by society?
Is it nature or nuture? Probably alittle bit of both.

Research on identical twins raised apart, show that when one is gay, 65 % chance the other is also. This tells me it's mostly genetic. There has been some inconclusive work on pre-natal hormone exposure as well.

They are sexually, emotionally, and physically attracted to people of the same sex. There is no problem. Their body reacts to what their brain wants. They choose to live their lifestyles. The majority rather live that lifestyle rather than being unhappy for the rest of their lives.

It is genetic. You are hard wired that way. I have a friend who knew his son was gay by the time the kid was 3 years old. The kid didn't know it until he was 14 or so.

why people are the way they are period?..whether you gay, lesiban, or what ever..if everyone was created the same and thinked the same, acted the same ..the world would be one boring place..thank God for difference
