I like Macintosh Computers because:

1. They are very stable. Windows-powered computers are usually very unstable due to driver problems and what not. With the Mac, though, everything is already handled by Apple so you don't have to worry about it.
2. Plug-in-play, without the drivers. You can use most any piece of hardware that you want, without having to install drivers.
3. No viruses. People don't target the Macintosh computer with viruses.
4. Great multimedia power. Mac OS X works great with Photoshop, Bryce and a few other programs.
5. Run Windows alongside Mac OS X. Now you can partition your drive with Boot Camp.
6. Macs do Office too. Apples have their own version of Microsoft Office.

Macs are very reliable systems (based on Linux) that are excellent for networking. I would never own one for my personal use because they're a pain to work on. They're also expensive. If I ever own a home office, I'm definitely installing a mac setup because they're better for networking and more secure systems.

I love Mac's, because they're secure and stable and a joy to use.

To correct an earlier post, they are not based on Linux, they are based on BSD Unix, or more specifically Darwin, a BSD subsystem, running the mach kernel. Also they are not more expensive, they are very comparable to similarly equipped PCs, and in some cases even less expensive.
