I'm in school in Pennsylvania, but I live in Louisiana in the winter and summer. When i go to the gas station to buy whatever it's always Arabics behind the counter. I'm not racist or anything... It's just odd.

Wasn't till I went to Nebraska that I finally saw anyone other than that in the gas stations for years. Same with the tobacco shops around here as well.

It is that way in Fort Worth, Texas also and not just one type of station. Yes, I agree. It is odd and a little spooky to me. I worry that we may be supporting terrorists right here at home.
What can we do about it?

It's really not odd. A lot of people who migrate to this country, especially if they're older do work in service jobs like convenience stores, hotels etc. Some actually did similar jobs in their home country so it's what they know. I think some of it is that there is still racism going on in this country and some people won't hire them in other positions. Whether we want to admit to it or not racism does still exist.

It's in Denver, CO too. Conoco stations mostly. It is because a large family owns many stations and they are working there.

Good point. Next time you go in ask them how they got started. Make sure you are talking to the owner. Ask them if they belong to the Federation? Most of their money is sent back to the Middle East.
You will be amazed how many are Palestinians.

its the same way in jersey and probably a lot of other places, the reason is probly the same as why all mexicans are landscapers, its good money to them and easy
