it's not even scary. what made it scary when it came out was how it was promoted. they were making it seem as if this was a real event and that by watching this, we all thought that we were seeing 3 real people being terrorized. i thought it was real at first. the marketing of this movie was absolutely brilliant. for you it's different because you know it's just a movie. i must warn you though, if you get motion sickness, this movie might make you nauseous. you'll know what i mean if you watch it.

In my opinion, it isn't scary. I usually squirm when watching horror movies, so that's saying something. It was a little scary for me however, because I initially thought it was a real documentary of real teens, but then I eventually found out it wasn't. So with the knowledge of this documentary actually being a mockumentary, you should be fine. I even think you'll be a little bored and unimpressed since you love horror movies and your sister never gets scared, but it's still interesting. Hope you have fun with your sis! P.S. I think the only reason why the movie is rated R is because of the language. I don't remember anything other than that making the movie R-worthy.

I've seen the Blair Witch project. Being a scary movie buff myself, I found it to be a disappointment. the camera moves around too much, being it is a home made thing. In my opinion, not scary at all.

No. The Blair Witch Project is not scary at all, unless you consider shaky camera's and weird camera angles scary. I think this was one of the most overrated movies of the last several years. Avoid this movie at all costs, a total waste of money.

WATCH IT! It is extremely suspenseful and creepy without being violent and gross. It is scary and with your background of scary movies, it would be perfect for you! Just watch it at night and in the dark (but not alone) - adds to the dramatic affect!

Not if you get scared watching a bunch of college kids with a VERY limited, almost non-existent budget running around pretending to film a movie and acting all scared.

It depends if you have an open mind or not. If you don't, you'll probably think it's stupid. But if you thought the flying monkeys were scary, it might freak you out.

It depends on your psychology. If what you can't see ( but imagine ) scares you, then this movie is indeed scarey.
