I had my ears pierced about 11 years ago, but the holes were pierced too high up in the lobes and now I'm finding that I can't wear a lot of dangly earrings. I'd like to get them repierced but I don't know if the original holes will close up properly?

go get it pierce again. The original holes prolly closed already. Doesnt matter if it close up properly. There'll definitely be some kinda mark/scar where the original piercings were. Just pierce on it again. Did it before. Its just ears. nothing to worry bout.

They will close, but they'll always be easy to reopen, because an ear piercing just isn't enough of a wound to completely heal. If you had them repierced, I think you'd be asking for trouble, cos if it was too close, the two holes could merge. Yuk.

11 years is a long time and I know you won't like what I'm about to say but sorry they will never heal completely and you will always be able to see where the original piercing was made. You can always try applying 'Dermatix' which helps to heal scars. Good luck!

Yes they will heal up again don t worry. I had my ears pierced in Japan and they did it a bit too low so I didnt put earrings in for a whie and then when they d grown out I got them re done higher up.

most likely they'll close but as they have been pierced for so long it could take a long time. But it shouldn't affect getting your ears pierced again

they'll most likely close, one of my friends' sisters had her ears closed up for like 5 years and then they went to see if they could still put earrings in and it went through all right, but in most cases they close
