Would the vice president take president's place and jobs while the president is out of the country

No. The Pres is always in full communication with his staff and it doesn't matter where he is. The VP does not take over for him unless he is incapacitated. Thank God. Would you want Cheney in charge for 5 minutes? Bush is bad enough.

No, the white house basically travels with the president. Air Force One is a Mobile white house. The president is still up to date and functional while abroad.

The vice president would take over only if the president were some how incapacitated.

The only time the VP would temporarily take over is if the president is incapacitated in some way. Not every decision in the white house is made by the president. If there is something that needs his immediate attention he can communicate with anyplace in the world from Air Force One.

The Vice President "acts in the President's stead" when he is out of the country. The President, however, is kept abreast at all times regarding all political matters regardless. The Whitehouse, in these matters, acts like a large corporation---everyone pulls together to help each other out, more strongly, until the Commander In Chief returns.

No. The president is still the president no matter where he goes. You need to realize that with all the advancement in technology, the president is never disconnected from what is happening back home.

The President can do anything on Air Force One that he could do in the Oval Office. Hey, this is the 21st Century. We have a thing called 'technology' now. Look into it.
