Last night someone spilled red wine on my favorite white sweater......
Please help!
I've tried shout, but the stain is a bit purple now but still there....

Owwwwch. I feel your pain. You should have soaked in cold water soon as possible, but all is not lost. If it was me I would probably take the garment first to my local drycleaners and get their expert stain advice. If they didn't want to touch it, then you don't have anything to lose trying your luck at home. You know, as long as you plunge something immediately into clean,slightly warm water, you can do a quick dash of bleach on the garment. That has worked for me often. But first, you might try soaking the whole garment in Oxyclean powder in slightly warm water. The Oxyclean products are everywhere these days... and the laundry ones are very "delicate fabric friendly".

take it to the dry cleaner, fast!
i have heard that pouring white wine on a red wine stain neutralizes the red, but i've never tried that.
shout definitely won't work

try white wine to get the stain out, i herd it really works

sorry, it will never come out. The samething happened to me. I had to buy a new one.
