They are pretty similar, but 34A is more comparable to a 32C. 32B is more comparable to a 34AA. The reason is that the band size and the cup size, adds up to the same amount of inches around the bust, ie 34A would fit a 35 inch bust and so would a 32C. Obviously a 32B would only fit a 34 inch bust, so it might be a bit tight for someone who usually wears a 34A. You just have to see what fits best. Hope this makes sense : )

They are close, but not the same.
The number is the number of inches around your chest, and the cup size is determined relative to that. In other words, a bigger woman's A might be about the same size as a smaller woman's B. But it's important to get the right-size bra; it's just a lot more comfortable and looks better, too. Many women out there are wearing bras that are not the right size for them.

The bra manufacturers may make the bras a very similar size but as for the human body those sizes are quite different.
Perhaps the assistant meant that their size in bras are about the same. She certainly couldn't tell you that real people with thoses sizes are the same! She would be absolutely wrong!

No. They are different sizes. Go to a custom lingerie shop (you can find them in the phone book) where the associates are much more knowledgeable.

No, they are totally different sizes. Im a 36B and i know if i was to put on an A cup, my little twins would be bursting out. You should be perfessionaly measured and then buy the right size to best fit your body.

I wouldn't think so...32 and 34 is the size around you...and the a and b are your cup size...you need to be measured to find out what size fits you best.

About, but the configuration is a bit different.
One is larger around the body while the other is larger in the cup

im a 34C. Ive had some buggers telling me to get 32D instead when my size runs out. Sometimes it fits, sometimes it doesnt. Always get the one thats the most comfortable for you.
