corperate sponcers can make even more $$, by using cheap Vietnamese labor!

#1 Since Bush did evade service in Viet Nam, like Bill Clinton, should he be in the country that killed many of his generation when he was too cowardly to go? (remember his Daddy ran the CIA during Nam)?

#2 Should America insist that VIet Nam account for the POW/MIAs who still have yet to be returned and their famileis allowed closure?

#3 Should American corperations be allowed to outsorce still more jobs to Viet Nam?

(note yahoo reporters reported and had the part I previously asked about POW/MIA's removed for defamation! so please beware that sour graping Bush supporters may do it again)

As a Vietnam veteran, I find Yahoo offensive for even considering removing anything about those who did not return and are still interned somewhere in Vietnam or Laos! Yahoo should fire the person that took that question off as they obviously lack respect for those who gave their lives in at least fighting Communism, not a war on oil!

Like I said, Repubs don't care about America or American
workers! That is clear by outsourcing then crying about those who are no longer employed here being lazy! Their bottom line is their pocketbook as evidenced by 500 new MILLIONAIRES directly from taking money earmarked for the war in Iraq and putting it in their pocket! That would have NEVER happened in WWII!

Gee another Hanoi...George! Well he finally got to see what it looked like from the air though it took him 40 years!

He did not evade the service like bill clinton did. He did serve just not in vet nam.
Yes i think viet nam should disclose all information it has on r POW and MIA'S
I think what we give viet nam would only be min. wage jobs with no benefits. I think we will get some good paying jobs out of it.
And i think it u want out of all conflict so we can do battle here in the united States. yes your right then everyone will be involved.. Some things i like about Bust others i don't but i know a man that has been fighting in iraq 2 times and what he says is what we here on news is one sided not telling of good things and if we leave then Iran will use their oil to build their nuclear and yes try to deliver it on American people. But then maybe Amerasians love thing like 9/11 happening in the United States.. I'm sure Iran have people like u that in favor of leting them bomm us.
I may only be 13 but i have brains. I chec al places and think not let others think for me. Talk to me when u learn to think for yourself

The Residents of Vietnam are more interested in US money than returning the bones.

How is it that Toyota Corporation could set up a Nation wide network of scrap-metal recovery in Vietnam. Collecting fragments of bombs and old armor. to get scrap steel for less than a penny on the dollar. But no one can set up a network to identify the remains MIA KIA soldiers left to rot in the mud.

The Air Force dropped millions of tons of high grade US steel bombs and Toyota sold it back to America in the form of Cheap cars.

It's all about the money. If you have a dime left in you pocket someone wants it.

Go big Red Go

For God's sakes, get over your empty subject. Get over the government: They protect your laws for safety, choices, and success.

Get over big corporations: Were you born in a hospital with electricity? Are wires and bulbs only made in America?

Give up your car. Stay in your house. You might be sullied by the big corp. influence. Watch that concrete and asphalt.

It wasn't a mom and pop business who lay the roads with tools made from metal mined and founded themselves. If they did, the M&P could have purchased raw goods from other countries. Would this company have been large enough to support the capital needed to make the purchase? The foreign agents for many of the products and services above coud have been American.

Please. Get some common sense. Apply some logic to your flaccid assertions.

Jobs leave America because it is too expensive to have manufacturing here. Thank all the liberals of both parties for that one. Companies go where it is the most cost effective to do business.

If you are really worried about American jobs, support the Fair Tax.

1. You have no proof he evaded anything.

2. Yes

3. The federal government has no authority to force American companies to do anything about jobs. All they can do is eliminate the entitlement mentality of free this and that. Then the taxes will go down.

I have no idea why any of your above comments would violate anything. I see nothing offensive about them.

The house defeated trade relations bill with Vietnam, so there will be no outsourcing from the U.S. for the foreseeable future:
thehttp://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/politics/4332023.html

answer to One: Yes, regardless of the fact he partied while others like you served,, he is now the president.

two: We should demand it, but how can we demand anything when Vietnam begs us to invest with them and we turn it down?

Three: It is unfortunate, But having been in China, India, and Thailand all I can tell you is if the U.S. doesnt do it, there are plenty of other mega corporations from Europe doing it; so do we become less competitive and let Europe get the upper hand or do we adapt and develope new ways to compete. (I am asking this, not soap boxing here. ).

Thank you for your service to our country.

We whine about foreign products.
But we sure enjoy buying our personal goods cheap.
Everything is a two-edged sword.
No chance for our POWs. Too Late.
Jimmy Carter sold them out. They were still alive back then.
Carter destroyed our POWs, but he pardoned the traitors that ran off to Canada & Sweden.
Bush at least served.
Clinton just dodged the draft and made fun of our military, while he lived on our tax payer money.

If companies can not afford to produce a product that we can afford to buy then expect more jobs to be lost. I don't believe you can have it both ways. That's why so many go to WalMart. They can't afford American made goods anymore. Fact of life.

this goof of a president is so against my morality, I thought it was an incredible sweep of his presidential powers to install the most anti abortion advocate as the head of federal abortion policis administration...check out this link...this president is one of the worst of all time because of his incredible partisanship and lack of cooperation to bring America together as one voice, he would lower the minimum wage if he could get away with it. I really don't think he loves America more than money and power for himself and those like him.
