Do MOST OF women have higher I.Q. than MOST OF men?

The difference between the average man's and the average woman's IQ score is less than 5 points. To put that in perspective, IQ tests are calibrated to have a single standard deviation of 15 points. So, for all intents and purposes, gender has a negligible impact on IQ averages. Where there IS a significant difference is in IQ spread. Women, as a whole, cluster far more tightly to average IQ numbers than men do - there are more men at the extremes. People in the 90-110 range are more likely to be women, while people in the 150+ range AND the 50- range are more likely to be men.

I don't think it's a matter of raw intelligence, as it would be measured on IQ scales, but more a factor of how intelligence is used. Women have what is called Emotional Intelligence, which includes the ability to manage one's own emotional state and the ability to get along with others. Emotionally I think women are much more intelligent than men. Check out this URL: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emotional_intelligence It may seem strange to receive an answer like this from a man, But this one has been tested on the Stanford Binet at 145, on the Tickle.com Test at 144 and on the Mega IQ test at 9 points (this test begins measuring at 120) approximately 160.

It's fairly evenly spread but with more males at the extremes.

In 2005 a UK study found there were twice as many males with IQs measured above 125 as there were women, but also twice as many men as women with below average IQs

There was also a Harvard study, again in 2005, that showed men have on average an IQ between 3.3 & 5 marks higher than women

Men tending to be more logical, which helps scores at the top end, but also tend to have shorter attention spans which affects results at the bottom end

But this seems to me to be the sort of "question" posted where the asker has already made up their mind and are not actually interested in any answers given

Actually, no.

In 2001, men scored 509 out of 800 on the verbal portion while women scored 502 out of 800.
The difference, however, is more pronounced and consistent on the math segment of the SAT. In 2001, men scored 533 while women scored 498. This difference tends to appear year after year.

I would say most women care more about there grades in school so may be there is some truth to what your are saying
