And how dear old uncle, did we discover this? Were we visiting certain establishments that our Catholic faith teaches us to resist?
As messed up as this is, talk to your neice first. There is a great deal of money to be made in these places if she keeps her head above all the drama/drugs that surround it. Maybe she has a game plan, maybe she is not getting the support from mom and dad that she still needs. Are you willing to pay her bills? Are you willing to get her a job that would allow her to get herself out of that environment? Seriously. These are things you need to ask before you go and meddle in someone else's life. Why ruin a family based on your interpretation of what you think you know before you actually know the truth about what is behind her decision to work in such a place. She is young, life is hard, and we all do the best we can to survive, unless you are willing to offer a solution, don't become a part of the problem hon.

Maybe she is working her way through college to be a lawyer. Many pole dancers are college students. Just talk with and find out what her goals are if you are acting out of concern. It may help you both.

No come on why would you want to do that.....she's 18 it her choice the best you can do is educate her on how to watch her back because that's a rough environment to begin with especially for a fresh 18 year old

find out if she is in anytrouble first. it might be because she has finacal problems or she wants to fund her way through uni rather then be on debts.
quite a few respectable women were pole dancers when at uni. its easy money and its very safe. as long as she doesnt let it get her into too much trouble she cant handle

Don't tell her parents. Shes old enough to make her own decisons and soon enough she'll learn that this isnt the life for her.

Its her choice leave her to make her own mistakes. She will carry on dancing anyway and it will only cause ruptions in your family. I wouldnt get involved just support her if she needs you.
