On the Intra Coastal Canal in Lauderdale By The Sea.That's between Pompano and Ft. Lauderdale Fla. Great beach and great fishing pier. Close enough to Miami and Palm beach and far enough away. Close to great bass fishing in fresh water and close to deep sea fishing. All up and down the gold coast there is good restaurants. High way A1A is a nice senic ride up to Palm Beach. By living on the canal, I would be far enough away from A1A yet walking distants to the beach if I so desired. And you could fish off the sea wall in your back yard if you wanted to.
