Same with sideline correspondents, Why do they put women at football games? Do women play football? NO, I'd have no problem with them calling baseball, soccer, basketball, anything else that women actually play, they dont know what theyre talking about and unless theyre in bikins i see no point for them being there

I die a little inside every time I hear a female-called football game. Stick to calling figure-skating you hoes!

Hey! I totally disagree with you. This is a balanced world and women have as much right to call things as men do. I get sick of listening to mens voices cursing in the living room when their team fumbles the football or something else, but I don't go on yahoo to complain to people.

I've played football in gym class with the guys, and yeah I got trampled quite a few times because I'm only 5 feet tall and, as a freshman, I stood no chance against seniors anyway. But just to give you a heads up, football isn't always a mans sport just like anything else. :P

I have no problem with a woman calling a football game anymore than I do with a woman calling any other sport...as long as they know what they are talking about. Problem is, very few women do. You are completely right, nobody should call a sport they have never played.

I have to agree with you, except for the bikini comment have you seen some of the women who call these games trust me you dont want them in a bikini. Women have no business on the sidelines or calling a football game, its not like they have experience in the game. If I for one ever hear a female calling a game refer back to her powder puff playing days I will vomit. I can see it now some woman calling a game refers to a play just ran as one that helped her powder puff team win a game. WTF is wrong with schools, and teams letting them on the sideline.

what a minute, i played plenty of "kill" football when i was a kid, and i was just as tough as any other boy.
but most girls or ladies do have a higher pitch than the gentleman who usually call games. the ladies can appreciate the game just as well as the men. if she doesn't know what she's talkin about , she should do her homework and get up to par.
as for bikinis and brains, just don't see your point.
maybe you're in need of some education yourself?

LOL. Thanks for the laugh.

Frankly, it hurts my head to hear ANYONE call a football game. I am perfectly capable of figuring out what is going on without some blowhard having to explain it to me. I usually turn the sound off and play music while I cheer my team.

I was a line backer...really LOVE to play football...BUT as far as pro ball goes, I think that this is a MANS sport..mens locker-rooms, and mens "bonding-time"..so I think it is wrong for females to want to butt in!
Common ladies, would we want guys at CURVES, or Jenny Craig gyms?? Let the guys have their space..watch cheer..or have fun tailgating, but stay out of pro-ball!

There's one ESPN play by play female announcer named Pam Ward who does college games, she' s good.
I have no problem with female sideline reporters unless they're annoying

They only read dummy cards, they can't call a game or even interview properly. I agree with you 100%. If you listen to one of them talk and watch their eyes...you'll see them reading. It dosen't make sence, it only makes $$$$$, and I don't think that'll last too long.
