Yes, and it so much fun to have your favorite foods instead of the same old theater choices. The only problem is the noisy wrappers. I would recommend ditching the wrappers and putting your items in zip-lock plastic bags before entering the theater. Shhh! enjoy!

this was a necessity, not an option.. back in the early 70's when i was a teen we would go to the movies and because times were hard we had no money to buy snacks.. with Mom/s love and resourcefulness we never realized we were so poor... we would cut grass do neighbor hood choirs for movie money Mom would make the popcorn ( back when it was made in a pot) and filled our little penny bags full with butter that soaked thru (fondly remembered). Off we'd go to the show the six of of i being the baby... thanks for the memory.

Yes! Depending on the theater. Some don't have those round little chocolate donuts/ twinkes or fruit bars. We also sneak in drinks we like such as vitamin water.

yes i have. I always put cookies or small bags of chips and juice boxes in a backpack when I take my 4 oldet kids. we still buy popcorn but it's usually not enough to get the kids through a whole movie. I really don't see anything wrong with this.
when I was little my mom would bring in microwave popcorn from home and not buy anything from the concession stand.

Absolutely, it saves a lot of money, and it's not like they search you on your way in....I will usually stop at walgreens or cvs and pick up some snacks before heading to the theater.

No but I took some in there-I never saw a sign saying I couldn't.
Heck, I took beer and booze in there. Of course I wound up at the wrong movie.

No but i did sneak half a bottle of scotch in a 600ml bottle of coke once....(i was 18), the usher couldnt understand why i fell down the stairs at the end of the movie and couldnt stand up straight........

Sure, when a soda is $ 4.50 I bring in some diet coke cans in my purse, I have and they don't sell like a good sandwich, so yes I did that too. Big rip off and no good stuff.

yes I have. I stop at the local Drug store and pick up my snacks at the local drug store. I put in my shirt and have put cans of soda in my back pockets of my pants. I beats paying the high prices they charge at the food counter..Also avoids longs lines as well.
