1. I became a teacher because I had a strong interest in my area, and I enjoyed working with teenagers. The best reason should be that you enjoy kids.
2. Working conditions are different now. Students are much more in tune with the world, and it's vital to keep up with technology. Most challenging aspect has to be the lack of motivation of kids these days. They have very little work ethic.
3. I try to give my students respect and I expect the same in return. Most students will respond to that, but there are a few that have too many other issues and will always cause trouble in class.
4. The benefits are that I get to work with some great kids, and I can watch them grow over the years. And then they come back years later and let you know how they are doing, it's great.
5. Not sure what you're asking, but I feel I am accountable for giving these kids the education they need.
6. Yes, it's a very rewarding career despite all the complaining that we may do at times!

1. Teach because you love sharing with students. The best reason for becoming a teacher is the joy you receive from your students.
2. Many students today are less respectful than previously. But, by showing through example, you can reach most (not all) students.
3. Show respect to your students!!! They will learn to respect you also. Many students never get respect at home or from their peers.
4. The satisfaction form your student's accomplishments
5. Only if you let it. If you are a good teacher-accountability is a natural part of teaching. You have to look at your population of students-if you know you are doing the best you can, you should not be concerned about anything else.
6. DEFINITELY!!!!
