I don't think so. The problem with the Reds is that Benitez tries to many combinations and players don't have enough time to get used to each other tactics. A poor form in the skipper Gerrard and a lack of finish away from home( they haven't scored away in over 9 hrs) is what the reds are lacking. I hope they will win some silverware this season because they're a good team.

Well their chances are limited to the Carling and FA Cups.
They have better hopes in Carling Cup because bigger teams left in the competition, pay little regard to this trophy.
The FA Cup is tougher, as Premiership clubs who can't win the title or those who are secured in the mid-table, would devote greater energy to this competition.
It being a single knock-out tournament (excepting replays), means that any team who can raise their game for just 1 cup tie, can beat a much stronger one, who have other competitions on their minds. (Eg, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd).
Furthermore, it's probably time when a team outside the Big 4, would win the trophy.
Unless Liverpool field full-strength teams in their remaining Carling Cup games, this looks a season without any silverware.

LIverpool's best chances are currently in Europe. They are top of their group and should win it easily. They are doing much better there than the league so they have a good chance there.
But aside from the FA and carling ciups, the league is getting away from them fast. They have lost to Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea and have let slip away good chances to make up points. Then they lose to Bolton, draw 0-0 to Boro...
Its not even Decemeber yet so they have time to make up ground, but it is fading. Its up to them to get back into the race.

Hopefully yes, but honestly no.
Liverpool need to show more grit and determination in putting balls into the net, rather than firmly keeping possession all the time. You've got top strikers like Kuyt, Bellamy and Crouch whose physical advantages such as speed and agility and height(for Crouch), can be exploited.
Unfortunately these strikers aren't receiving the service they need to get enough shots off their boots. That's my point.

I think we are going down the same road of two seasons ago.
I think we'll make the Champions league Final, who knows if we'll win it again though.
I also think we'll win the FA Cup again. I think we'll end up 4th in the league. We will have a blazing run in the final half of the season.

The best they can hope for in their wildest dreams is the champions league and the FA cup! Will it happen? Maybe the carling or FA cup, i dont think they are good enough away from home to win the champions league! sorry.

the Premiership is already out of reach, so Liverpool could only realisticly win the other 3 cup competitions, the Carling Cup, FA Cup & UEFA Champions' League.

i don't think so as far as their results r concerned up till now. but they might win because no one knows when one might get into form. and Liverpool has players like Gerrard and Kuyt who can change the game anywhere anyhow.
