Most psychologists would tell you that there is no such thing as "true love." Rather, we tend to choose people which match up with our needs. And a person that is growing over their life span will change, therefore their needs will change, therefore the person that is required to meet those needs will change.

Happiness does not only result when one finds true love, I think that happiness can come in all sorts.

Happiness can be achieved from a day spent with your family members, perhaps a picnic, a dinner get together- interaction with people mainly results happiness.

Happiness can be resulted from loving yourself. I'm not saying that you should be selfish, but loving yourself means that you should take care of your body, don't harm it, having a good health can bring about happiness as being healthy and not having to worry bout health woes can bring about happiness as you are free to do things that you always wanted to do.

All in all, happiness is up to you to make it out what it should be like.

Fret not, I'm sure you'll find your own happiness.

I find happiness in peace of mind, which, I suppose, can also be fairly defined as finding oneself. "True love" is a very subjective term, consisting of a sometimes, tumultuous, but, always, ever changing dynamic. I much prefer the former definition which carries with it a more constant connotation.

I believe that the benefits of true love cannot be realized if you don't find yourself first. If you depend on a mate to 'complete' you, you are burdening that person unnecessarily and to no one's advanyage.

Some people seem to find themselves too soon and don't get over it. Finding true-self is more important first I would think... unfortunately many people are delusional.
