if i wanted a new spoiler put on my 97 black jetta and i took it to a bodyshop to get it painted would the new black be more noticable than the original paint on the car?

not if you buffed the car

As long as the painter blended the paint into the surrounding body panels it shouldn't stand out too much.

they should be able to come close unless the paint on the car is faded
