ISRO is planning to find a hindi or a sanskrit word 4 astronaut.
chinese hav their own version th TAIKINAUT.

Actually,an astronaut is called 'antarikshayatri' in hindi .This could be a long name so ISRO can use 'brahmanaut' ,brahma comes from 'brahmand' meaning universe.

the actual only name can be Running Star. It was passed by Geronimo in 1873 that if any indian were to go into outerspace, that running star would be his name.
