How can we search for people "free" when we are charged.???

Every time I look for an "Old friend" on the internet, I am led to believe the search is at no cost ....Then up comes the screen to pay by:......Credit Card.
Come -on something is wrong with this picture.!

Few websites are free. If that's what the website wants, you have no choice except to find another avenue to help you. Sorry.
