It means your brake system has detected a problem and you should take it to a mechanic as soon as possible.
If it starts FLASHING, it means STOP DRIVING and call a tow truck ASAP.

This is unusual. On any car I've ever worked on, it's always the front pads to go first because most of the stopping force is applied there due to the weight transfer when stopping. Not to mention that usually the self adjusting mechanism on the rear drum brakes usually doesn't work like it should so as the rear brakes wear, they won't be wearing at the same rate as the front brakes. They wear slower. The only thing I could think of would be that maybe a valve in the ABS unit stuck or malfunctioned causing the rear brakes to stay engaged making the rear brakes wear out prematurely. I've NEVER EVER seen ANY brake pads/shoes last 112,000 miles.

Most likely your parking brake is not fully released and the cord needs to be replaced. If you have not noticed any changes in the way it drives and stops, new noises, ect. Check brake fluid level, fuses, and inspect brake lines. It could be as serious as needing a new abs system or as minor as a disconnected sensor.

it means you have a major failure in the brake system of the truck. whenever a red light is on, it indicates a dangerous condition, and must be fixed.. check the brake fluid level. it could be just low, and the sensor is doing it's job. if it's really low, check for a leak. it may just need brakes replaced, and the fluid level has slowly dropped. whatever the case, do a COMPLETE brake inspection. be safe.

your Anti lock Brake System does not operate when your parking brake is set. set and release your parking brake a few times If this does not help, check the brake fluid level and the vacuum line-s going to the power brake assist chamber

this could be 1 of 4 things... 1, parking brake is applied slightly,,,set it fully and release it. 2.. low on brake fluid,,check and fill to correct level, 3 sensors have detected brake pads are worn out,,4. loose connection on sensing unit,,,located near the master cylinder,,,un plug & re connect,,,some models require disconnecting the viehicles battery for 2 minutes to reset computer.
