I don't see why not...it's just a matter of time, they've got the players but they have to play better and we all know they can. After Bruce Arena talked to Landon Donovan, the latter went out and played much better, also the coach omitted to send Eddie Johnson, an aggressive forward, to prove himself against Italy.

yes in 20-60 years from now. When football gets really big in the US. Then they will surely win the world cup for the first time.

I'm from the U.S. so I'm not meaning this is any offensive way whatsoever, but um...The U.S. is not very likely to win the WC anytime soon because of how successful the game is in Europe and most other parts of the world.

I would love to see them win one, but I doubt it will happen for a long time.

Well, I don't see why not.....they have the talent but they are weak in some of the technical aspects. Once they iron out a few of the finer points, I'm sure they will be a great team! Also, they have to be more consistent but it's nothing they can't do.

No, because soccer is not considered a major sport here so children do not grow up playing it like they do in other countries. Over in Europe and other countries they are very passionate over it. I mean it is more popular than football and NASCAR combined.
