What is meant by Net Capital Outflow (NCO) and how does it equal Net exports?

My main problem is understanding what net capital outflow is. If you could show/explain how it equals to net exports it would also be appreciated. Colin

I haven't come across that specific term before but I expect it is the net of inward investment less outward investment.
I'm not sure if or how it might equal net exports.
