Well, when you go to the lane by yourself, just pace yourself & slow down. Lay it up as if you were at school practicing, and don't just blast off when you get the ball all by yourself. Calm down, pace yourself, and lay it up with a soft touch. (Not too soft, but soft enough off the glass to where it can go in...)

the reason why that's happening is because you are throwing the ball at the backboard too hard try easing off on your layups a little bit just lay it up a little softer and you should see some results immediately

well im good at fast breaks my only problem is ball handling( at times,) but if your tall start the layup not soo close to the basket because your going to end up behind it and the balls chance of going will be slim to none and try to hit the box .

Old trick my dad tought me, pretend there is a string from your elbow to your knee, when you lift the ball up, your knee on the same side goes up...it slows you down and corrects your form. Use the back board and same spin as your jump shot, just jump of the oppsite leg of the hand you are using. Also any sofr shot in the big orange box goes in...just be soft.
Or just dunk it...that what i do...lol!

just take your time and dont think about it to much, usally you think to hard and mess up, just go up nice and easy and lay it off the back board and you shouldnt have any problems.
