i have set the TVS Lucas Distributor D23 with about 8 deg static advance. the tail pipe has black soot which was not there earlier with almost the same advance and similar carburettor setting and tappet setting.please advise.
also, the premier padmini manual talks about different values for runnig tappet clearance and tappet clerance for valve timing. please explain, how to set these valuesas the values mentioned for these two are from 0.1mm and 0.37mm. how to set and check the latter value?normally we find that the tappet cover is taken out and tappet clearances are set to about 0.1mm in static condition.is this the right way?
is always droplets through tail pipe during the first few kms run in normal/cool weather an indication of optimum tuning?

1) Penguins-Capitals. Hard fought series. In the end though, it came down to nobody showing up for Washington (Besides Ovie). Im still not convinced that Crosby is the better player, but I guess time will tell. 2) Blackhawks-Canucks. Chicago was a smarter and better team. Luongo didn't play to his full potential, and Chicago's 4 lines all contributed. 3) Bruins-Hurricanes. Well the Bruins proved once again that they are playoff chokers. I really do not think that Carolina is that good of a team. How they ever got up 3-1 on the B's then eventually won is way far beyond me. 4) Red Wings - Ducks. Jonas Hiller played incredible. However, I would argue that officiating may be the only reason why this series was as close as it was. Plus, Datsyuk??? Whats going on? I think if Datsyuk was scoring like he usually does this would have been a way different series. Luckily though Detroit plays Chicago next and I think we all know how Pav plays against them
