Sounds like your motive is more than playing online games. If you're looking for a relationship, try a gay chatline or something; they're everywhere.

If you're truly looking to play online games, what difference does it make whether or not they're gay? Are you some kind of heterophobe?

Hiya purple-chick. I too enjoy playing backgammon online. And I too would enjoy an LGBT site for online gaming. It is obvious that the previous responses are ignorant of the following reality: they DO care about sexual orientation. It's really not a matter of us "declaring" ourselves. It's really just being ourselves. You don't need to "announce" your orientation as a heterosexual because it is already assumed. Especially when you speak about your opposite-sex partner. An LGBT gaming site would be a nice safe-place. Hope you find one.

I don't think they categorize gamers according to their sexual preference. you can always play and pretend the other player is gay? but what does it matter anyway? its not like you will ever meet them, you are playing an online game.. no person to person contact.. Is it one of those " I can't play with you because you are straight" things?. you realize that is bigotry right? discriminating and or excluding someone because of race, sexual preference, religion, etc... is bigotry. And for all that gay people have fought for why would you do that? dating sites seperate by sexual preference, not gaming sites
