I don't think that anything could be wrong. But see, the same thing has happened to me, and you know what, I think you should tell your parents about it, depending on your age, because if you're a teenager, it could be that your hormones are just going out of control.

I get really depressed when I'm on my period, which is why I'm on birth control to control my hormones and regulate my period.

It could probably be that.
But you should talk to your parents about it.

Depression can be caused by low thyroid function, among other things. You might want to ask your Dr to check what else it might be.

It's pretty normal. How old are you? Your body may be going through changes that we cannot see. .. hormones are changing, surging, rising, etc. Try to get into the sun (sunlight releases a chemical in the brain that makes us feel good), stay away from sugar when you're feeling this way, and go for a walk, or some other form on exersice, even if you don't feel like it. It truely will help!!!

Depression. It can attack anyone any time. You can talk to your doctor about it, or ask your mom for a bit of help.
