is ps3 worth the money?

for those of you who already have the ps3, what are your first impressions and is it worth 600

well when you look at it ps3's only that costly because it only has like on buyer. so his price is final. unlike xbox360 with 2+ buyers (stocks). another reason ps3 is so high is because it can make any tv look high def. and higher digital screen resolution which makes the whole screen look clear. so if you are into the whole movies and screen play with mostly videos and not much game play u get the ps3 but if u want pure action gaming you should get the 360 since it has many top selling games as well as when you look at the ps3 so far it may only have 1 good game which is call of duty 3 which is also for the 360. you can also look an see that ps3 has almost the same key components as the 360 does and the 360 has even much more better graphics in there games such as the new upcoming Halo 3. so ps3 is a waste of money if you are into games. but get it if you are into big plasma screen movie nights. plus i hear that ps3 is all sold out and none are left since they could only make like a little amount of it due to the confusion of the due date. so if u want a ps3 id check to see when the new shipments arrive if u want them other than that if you don't feel like going up and doing all that research and just buy it when it is cheaper id buy it in 1-3 years from now....

Frankly, I would pay 600 dollars for the ps3 system, but I know it will distract me from school work. It is obvious that the system is not worth that much. But, the principle of demand and supply generates the 600 dollar benchmark. You can check for yourself how much the system is actually worth on this website. It takes them roughly 300 dollars to create the system majorly due to the motheroard price and the blu-ray technology, but in the next year the availability of this technology will force the prices of the ps3 to drop.
