Christopher Williams (born Troy Christopher Williams on August 22, 1967, in The Bronx, New York, USA) is an American R&B singer who emerged during the late 1980s as a recording artist for Uptown Records. Notable singles by Williams included "Promises, Promises" (1989), "Talk to Myself" (1989) and "Everything Little Thing U Do" (1993). The single "I'm Dreaming" (1991), from the New Jack City soundtrack, became a #1 single on Billboard's "Hot R&B/Hit Hip-Hop Singles" charts.
Williams has a son with actress Stacey Dash, and is the cousin of R&B singer Al B. Sure! He is also notable for having been the former boyfriend of actress Halle Berry. Williams was suspected of having beaten Berry so badly that she became nearly deaf in one ear; however, he alleges that it was actually Wesley Snipes who physically abused Berry.
In 2005, it was reported that Christopher Williams died, in his home, of an unknown cause. This was later proved to be untrue.
Since then he hasn't really done really much. Aloha.
