When I go to ...start..then prgorams..then settings..then control lpanel..then display.....I look at all of my background pics. i have so many..and some simply need to be deleted...especially the manufactured windows background display pics. But, I see absolutely no method to get rid of these back ground pics.
Any suggestions?

Try to delete them one by one. First, click on the icon for the screen and then try to click on the boxes related to the backgrounds you want to get rid of.

you can search for the filename of any of the pics. Once you find the folder one is in, chances are many more are in the same folder. In the folder they are in: delete them as you would any other file.
