Men are tempted. It is in there nature. They don't think things thru carefully. They never look at the outcome of there actions. They believe that no one will no. My advise is to try to keep your sex life as spicey as ever. Be spontanious, try new things, Show him attention even when you are tired or to busy, send a text message that out of the blue says I LOVE YOU, the more exciting your relationship is the less likely he will be tempted to look for excitement.

The most common answer to why spouses cheat is that something is wrong in the marriage and the affair is a bi-product of those problems, even when most other aspects of the relationship are working well. “The problem” is often one that the faithful spouse who would never think of cheating does not see or has elected to ignore for one reason or another. Other times, the marriage has changed and evolved in a way that leaves the cheating husband or cheating wife feeling left out or somehow empty. Those changes may include a shift in attitudes toward one another and the problems ensue. When a spouse feels that his or her needs are not being met, some turn to their work, others to drugs or alcohol and many to the arms of another man or woman. Although this appears to be the most common cause, there are others who engage in an affair or infidelity purely for the sex. They do not want their relationship to end, they simply seek the thrill that being with someone else brings. Either way, the pain, humiliation and betrayal are the same.

Boy, there are a crap load of reasons. So many books have been written on this subject it's hard to give just one. How much time do you have? This could take a very loonnngggg time.
I guess one reason goes back to the evolution of man. Man was and still considers himself to be the provider, the hunter, the conqueror. Having said that, men are always looking for a challenge, another thing to 'mark' as a successful hunt.
Things become boring and mundane in married life. Get up, go to work, come home and see the same 'old' thing. Get something to eat, watch the boob-tube, get ready to retire for the evening and do it. Only to start the cycle over again at the sound of the alarm.
If you'd like to converse on the subject further, do some reading and research or contact me.

To be honest, i think its for the same reason that lots of women cheat on their husbands....lack of respect?!
Men are usually slammed for it though cos they do it while their wife is at home looking after THEIR family!
Men just go on about the marriage going down hill because of the kids etc, mayb they should try doing a mothers job and bring up the kids, proper...most men wouldnt survive a day alone with the kids!
If a man is cheating on his wife then it shows the only importance in the marriage is himself.
He has no real respect for his wife, otherwise he wouldn't cheat on her, to love someone you need to respect that person. The person he is seeing behind his wife's back, sorry but i think he see's her as a quick hump when he wants a bit! Usually the other woman is just used for sex, so in the man eyes she's a tramp, why would he love someone like that?
Im sure as many woman cheat on there husbands, its just us women have the balls to ask a question and men pretend everythings great in their relationships!
If your husbands cheating on u then cut his bits off...no good to anyone then is he!!!
Good luck x

Grass is greener on the other side of the fence...
Unhappy with wife & married life...
Not all married men have affairs..
The most a woman can do to prevent a husbands straying
is to make sure he has a happy and sexually complete and
satisfying life at home with his wife...
If hubby likes oral sex and wife refuses to comply then hubby
can either live without it or go elsewhere for it...

Why do married men have affairs? Not the right question. But the answer is: It is not in human nature to be monogamous, it is a cultural behavior. As such, there are always those who do not follow cultural norms.
The further away from human nature you get with cultural norms, the higher the incident of such actions. With infidelity the incidents are very, very, high in both men and woman.
This is not to say it right..... I am not saying that at all here. You just asked why...

I have wondered this same thing many many times. But I know a lot of women out there that do the same thing. It is a shame when they have someone at home that is sooooo good to them and they still do it.
For example: My man cheated on me too. I found out that he did and was still doing it. I sat down one day at home alone and tried hard to see what I might be doing wrong at home that would make him want to cheat on me. I will say that I did gripe at him a lot but that was because I knew that he was cheating on me and he knew that I knew he was lying to me about it. But other than that, I would clean house, do all the yard work,(only time he did that was when he had cheated on me and felt "guilty" about it) I washed his clothes, I cooked for him, I would even for the most part carry his plate to him while he watched TV, any time that he wanted time in the bedroom he got it, no matter what time it was, I was always available for him in the bedroom, I tried everything that I could think of to make him want to stay home, even had friends make suggestions as to what I could do to make him want to stay home. He just would not stay home, so I gave up and moved out one week while he was "visitating" one of his "friends", he came home to an empty home.
So all these people out there that thinks that a person cheats on their mate is because there was something they wanted and wasn't getting at home...I would sure like to know what that was as like I said, I tried hard and for what .... nothing. Him and I still talk but not like we should by no means. There really is no excuse to cheat on your mate period!! But I would like to know why they think they have to do that when they do have it sooo good at home? What does drive the women and men to do this? Why not just get a divorce first if they want to play house with someone else so bad?

i could say if she could then she is somewhat lonely, bored, searching for an thrilling new lover, and unattracted to her husband. Her husband is probable buried to his eyeballs in artwork so he ignores her, have been given to be superb acquaintances with the television, would not compliment her anymore, takes issues with none attention that she does for the important different and childrens, placed on a splash weight, would not use that advantageous cologne he used to, lost that romantic way approximately him, under no circumstances takes her out, blah blah blah.... however the different married guy has one fault that yours would not and thats being a rat! particular new intercourse is tempting yet no longer properly worth it. stable success

Bcause we are greedy, senseless, dumb, pigheaded, selfish men. The same applies to women that do the same. There is no good thing that comes from affairs-just disrespect, hurt, anguish, pain, and a multitude of setbacks in our lives.....KECK

It's called biology. Nature dictated that men were not monogamous, but religion and this culture decided that they should be. Interesting, monogamous religions and cultures are a minority in the world.
