Probably not... If you had full coverage and you wouldn't mind getting a check from your insurance company instead of your bike back I would say yes...

Not unless he signs a statement that if your bike is damaged or destroyed he will pay for it in full within 3 days or you take him to Judge Judy!

Only with the understanding that if he is chasing someone or being chased, he will stop the bike before he goes offroad and change the tires to something suitable.
