As I understand the situation, your brother and his gf do not wish her mom to know about this pregnancy.
You should respect that wish, whatever reasons the two have for not telling, but you have also a right to tell your brother that the situation is becoming awkward for you. Ask him that he and she should tell her mother, but don't say anything like "Otherwise I'll tell".
If her mom asks again, don't lie bluntly, just tell her to ask her daughter.

I think she should be told immediatly . I had this happen to one of my brothers and finally someone had the nerve to finally tell us.We didn't find out until the baby was already born and he ended up missing the birth of his child because he was afraid to tell us. His girlfriend and him broke up and she almost married someone else. They worked things out and got married and their daughter just graduated from High School this year . They are still married and have been together for over 20 years .Good things may happen . This baby is coming either way! Go tell your mom and dad today they can help !

You are in a tough position. I'm sure you don't want to alienate your brother by telling your mom, but you don't want to lie to your mom either. I think you should tell your brother that you are feeling pressure from your mom and it is hard for you to not be honest with her. Give him a day or two to tell her himself. If he doesn't and she asks you again, tell her that is something she needs to talk to him about it. She will probably figure out at that time that you know, but she should understand you wanting her to hear it from him.

I've been in a somewhat similar situation like this. In my case it was my sister who was pregnant, and she decided to tell me weeks before my mom found out for herself. I felt really confused because I didn't want to alienate either of them. I decided to keep my mouth shut and let my sister spill the beans herself. I told my sister that when she decides to tell our mom she should already have plans regarding the baby, because I thought that through this she will show herself to be capable of being responsible for her actions to a certain degree. I also told her how I felt about the situation, and she said she just wanted me to know so she wouldn't feel so alone.

NO..you should not tell her!! that is between your brother and his girlfriend..maybe they are waiting for the right time. some people do not want everyone to know untill they have went to a few dr. apts and know that everything is going to be okay!! she will find out when its the right time. also maybe they dont want her to be disappoted in them ( if they are not married or exc.) so just give it some time they will tell her when they feel the time is right!! good luck to both of them!

Tell her she has to talk to her own daughter about that type of thing. Lie to her and tell her you don't know if she keeps pressuring you. It's not your responsibility or place to tell her mom any information that she doesn't want to tell her mom herself. ( Unless you feel she is in danger.)
