That's nothin. I was on a bus trip once and an older gentleman in the seat next to me died. I didn't know it, he went quiet like, but his head kept flopping over on me. He was sort of leaning forward and I though he was one of those people who could sleep like that. Who the hell knows what you're going to meet on a bus, and I just kept pushing his head back every time we'd go around a curve. I was getting a little tried of it, and wasn't being all that gentle, as I hoped the guy would wake up. Needless to say, he didn't, and man was I was I surprised when we stopped a couple hours later. When I got out of my seat, his head and shoulders flopped into the isle! I was pretty damn startled, I'll tell you that. A lot of things happened then, among them an impatient old lady in a black coast who began poking the guy with her umbrella and telling him to move. The driver finally came back, and was going to give the guy mouth to mouth, but since the body was cold and stiff he decided not too. All kinds of things happened after that, but you talk about a creepy feeling. I haven't ridden a bus since

It's already over, so you can't respond, and there's nothing more to do! You are probably feeling that more should be done, after all a life has ended before your very eyes and you feel some responsibility! We don't all have the luxury of passing on in our own bed, and you at sixteen haven't prepared yourself for the shock of seeing this happen.
There was nothing you could do for this man, since the first responders couldn't save him, how could you!

I don't understand the point of your question. The police and ambulance came and did their job, so you did the right thing. Are you looking for emotional support? Call your mom, a friend, a pastor or someone else that can comfort you.

Take a deep breath and try to relax. I know it's hard because you're pretty freaked out right now. There's nothing else that you could have done. If you can, call your mom and let her know what happened. Say a prayer for the mans family and try to find something to do that you enjoy. Listen to music, watch your favorite dvd or tv show.

Wow, the poor man. Thankfully it didn't happen while he was driving at 65 mph on the highway. These things happen more than people know. If you find this troublesome you should talk about how you feel with someone you think will listen and understand. That's really all you can do.

Call your mom to come home if she can. In the next few days know you did the right thing. Try to be around your friends. Go out to a funny movie or hang out at the mall. Try to relax. Try not to be alone too much.

You did the right thing. There's not much else you can do except remain calm. The police and ambulance will alert his family.

Learn that death is the ultimate conclusion of all life. It is not creepy, it just happens. I think you should at least consider attending the funeral and hopefully meet the man's family. This will help bring closure to this event.

Call your mom.....that is freaky, and your mom needs to be there to support you. If you can not get a hold of her, call another relative. Is a police officer still there with you?? Good luck, and please pray for the deceased! God Bless you, hon.
edit: You need to call a friend or family, just to have someone to talk to, good luck, it will be ok.

Say a prayer for the poor soul who passed away and get the dishes done like your mother asked you to do.
