Does anyone know the lyrics to the song...?

Question

...that was played on the TV-Show "Ghost Whisperer", season 2, episode 9? The episode was called: "The Curse Of The Ninth".

And does anyone the name of the actor who played the singer who sang this song on that episode?

Here are some of the lyrics that i remember:

i couldn't find the song either. but i found a singer who guest-starred on that episode. joshua chasez, i don't know if he played the singer, but he's a talented one in real life. (he was the 2nd lead singer in *n sync)

someone else asked about it too. i checked cbs.com and midnight hour played a song called running away and three days grace did pain, i'm not sure they were both on the episode, but hey, i tried!!
