what things should i bring with me,anyone have any tips if you have been to concerts?

Earplugs as already mentioned just those that go in the ears, not Headphone looking. Camera, may be too far, but, any pictures will be pictures. When the lights on get a picture of the Stage. Colored lights and smoke will show some. Maybe a few snacks in your pocket, something small and easy. If, you can sneak in a Drink that great. Nothing worse that having to go buy a snack/drink or have to Pee and miss something cool. Pee before you go and hope to make it through, women's bathroom may have a mile long line.

Earplugs. No, seriously. I've been to concerts where the volume has been excessive (Status Quo!), and you can expect ringing in your ears for a couple of days afterwards.
Earplugs will lessen the impact, but you will still be able to hear it fine.
The same applies to some motorsports, F1 being a prime example.
