So that I am getting exacttly what I want at any given time.

What I mean is : how can I cut down the time between wanting and having (e.g. specific information).

I'm thinking more in the interface side.

Well you could try being a little more specific (unlike your question) when you enter words into your search engine.

Not sure what you're asking...........would Broadband speed up your search to "lightning speed"............how about putting speech marks around your entries so that you only get specific responses from the search engine.

1. Get broadband Internet, either cable or 3-6Mbps DSL. Or,
2. Download all of Wikipedia onto a memory chip, then implant it into your head. :-)

P.S. A note to producer_vortex: A T1 line tops out at 1.5 Mbps, actually kinda slow by today's high-speed standards. It's hideously expensive compared to DSL & cable, too.

My, aren't we impatient? Tee hee

Good luck!

I'm not a techie so I can't really help you as far as your hardware or software or any of that goes. I don't even have the internet at home, only at work & I'm pretty far from computer-savvy...but hey you could always try yelling:
"Morebetterfasterhardergiveme
givemenownownowsatisfyme!" & see how that goes...

Or, just wait however long it takes to download. Our computers are pretty slow at work but luckily I don't need or expect anything to come to me at lightning speed. I don't mind if things take their time coming anyway... ;)

First, what does Philosophy have to do with your question?

You need to wait yet for further advancement in browsing speed - beyond the broadband. It is or must be in the pipeline. Till then, put up with and make best use of what you have now!

DSL high speed or Cable High speed. Thats as fast as it gets.

Unless you can afford a T1 line.
