I totally agree, he thinks he's funny, but he's not, he tries to hog the limelight. They should pension him off, mind you he's already collecting his old age pension. FIND A BETTER PRESENTER BBC.

I agree - and with all those who say he's always trying to take the limelight when he'd do better out of it. He's a;ways been crap and overrated but I think the Beeb probably chose him for this because he can dance a bit.

I think he's good. A real proffesional. Like that time the two dancers got caught together and he started dancing with the repair lady to make a joke out of something serious.

An old-fashioned presenter for an old-fashioned show.

For me, it demonstrates a like of innovation by the BBC. But it is a ratings winner- so I guess that's all that counts.

Personally, I can't stand the show, so I couldn't care a less who presents it.

his style of presenting was very popular in the 70's and earlier half of the 80's but it comes across as a little (!) patronising now

Old n stale, I'm afraid!

I've heard a few stories from normal 'joe publics' that he's extremely rude and well up his own a*se.

Wouldn't give him the time of day!
