I am with Twigs, The wombling song by the wombles (1972 I think), B side = We've got wombles everywhere. I didn't have the album tho.
I bought the single from woolworths, it cost 49p

Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Loved it when I was seven, still love it today and invokes memories from many stages in my life.

David Bowie - Space Oddity and The Sweet - Ballroom blitz

Motown music.

Marvin Gaye, I Heard it through the Grapvine. It was his first number-one hit, and was the most successful single released by Motown in the 1960s.

Reminds me when I first started going to disco's, in Bakewell (Derbyshire}. I loved that song the most and still love it today.

My first record was; Leader of the Pack, Shangri-las (1964)
and on the reverse side it had Walking in the Sand, which I also loved.

Happy times.

anything from Marc bolan, Sweet, Gary glitter, Mud, and especially SLADE I had a little tape recorder come player and the only tape I had for it was Sladest by slade, I remember sticking the microphone up to the radio on a sunday night to tape the top 20 and shouting at everybody to keep quiet.

Wish I had a time machine sometimes.

I Can See Clearly Now-can't remember who sang it-but my mum used to sing it all the time. Also Paper Roses by Marie Osmond-when I was little I couldn't remember the words,so I always sang,'Paper roses,I supposes...'
