Lex Rex is the Sacred Law and Prerogative of Christian Kings. In medieval days it was presumed that the king was placed as ruler by God and thus had 'Divine Right' so that whatever he said was accepted as God's Truth and the king could not, therefore, be wrong. Lex rex is Latin for 'The King's Law'.
