does anyone know how to find out a WEP password to a wifi connection by just using my psp?

my neighbor has a wifi terminal with a WEP security password. and i really want to break into it so i can surf the net and download stuff to my psp. is there a way to do this without getting caught

yes i know it's illegal, thats why i said without getting caught

LOL , LOL , ok well , yes it can be done , but i guess you don know how to use linux then , cause with a windows base system well it cant be done but with a linux system yes , now the best you can do is reverse engeni , that means , wait till he or she gets to sleep , then go over the house , open the windows , tip toe to the room , SMACK HIM OR HER on the head ( just to make sure they are in dreamland ) and then just copy the wep key from under the router

more than likely it is not WEP but WPA which cannot be broken easily.

To crack any security code all you need is time and CPU power.
You obviously have the time if you want to break encryption with such a weak CPU.
It'll take you forever.

If you use it (hack it - which, yes can be done) your system will be entered into her router log and/or she may see you when you connect if she checks ir periodically (I do - I can click to disconnect anyone I see using my service). Why don't you just ask?
