Ray Charles- one of the BEST blues, R&B, country, rock musicians of all time. NOBODY will EVER have a voice like his. He didn't care about music genre- he just wanted to write, preform and record any type of music. I have heard he was a jerk face in person, but many people are. Half the musicians I like are complete waste of space and where Jerk Faces too (ie: Thom Yorke, Syd Barrett, Jimmy Page, R.E.M)... Ray Charles was freakin great, and never forget it!

Not you, that's just my favorite song of his. Many many people love Ray Charles, count me amoung them.

I do - that raspy open voice is great!! Then listen to Britney Spears afterwards and she sounds like Minnie Mouse (the truth comes out!) Today's singers are turdy compared with yesterday's greats.
