The reasons for an aggresive behaviour always start from the family. And there are plenty of ways for a kid to be abused by his or her family, not only the physical violence! It could also be lack of attention or lack of interest from the parents! Not even the hardest man in this world could have lived without parents!
If the child has the right upbringing, it will not become aggresive by any means and will not be affected by the "lures" of society such as sex, drugs, violence, racism, etc.
The family always has to play the role of a "protecting shield" against anything that`s bad, especially in the difficult period of the teenage years.

But psychology says that a limited amount of "non-obedience" is accepted, as the teenager undergoes radical changes in personality, physical characteristics and acceptation. And, as these natural changes cannot be prevented, the family should emerge again, showing the right way to the long road of maturation!

Well for the most part I'd say we blame hormones. Also, teenagers are starting to deal with adult issues and they have different things going on inside their bodies. There is a lot of conflict on the inside regarding adult and child identity. Also they are desperately wanting freedom but not ready for it so they are at conflict with their family and society.

Teens are teens because they are at the age when their hormones start kicking in.... estrogen, progesterone and testosterone.... They have new feelings, new bodies to deal with, they want more indepence, yet still must live at home. There is a lot going on for them....
