You have encountered the dreaded Blue Screen of Death. It can be caused by a number of things. Soemtimes it comes as a glitch in your system and may not repeat itself, sometimes the system can repair the problem on its own. However, it is more likely that you are experiencing this problem multiple times. If this is the case, there are ways to fix it. I'm not personally familiar with the fdcant.sys file, but this problem typically arises due to a software conflict. Have you installed any new programs or drivers recently? If so, remove them. Use control panel's Add or Remove Programs to uninstall any new software, or the Device Manager to roll back drivers. Even if this is the cause of your problem, this type of action does not always fix it. There are several more complicated fixes you can try, but if uninstalling doesn't work, I'd recommend running a complete reformat of your hard drive and reinstall windows. If this still doesn't fix the problem, then you have physical damage to your system, likely the RAM but possibly the motherboard as well.
