in GOF it was told that nyphodoria tonks is serius's cousins daughter (i.e. she is draco's cousin) and in the OOTP it says that n-tonks is his cousin...how come??

Yea, I've noticed that myself, but nobody has mentioned it so far. I assumed that maybe the British considered their cousin's children as their own cousins (I'm an Indian). Maybe Hermione mixed it up. After all, its Harry to whom Sirius told about his family in ootp, not Hermione.
oh, and by the way, serius is not the correct spelling.

tonks wasn't in GOF. She was first introduced in OOTP when fletcher, and company kidnap him and take him to Grimmauld Place. and even if it was in a different book, all purebloods are interrelated so its possible that from different perspective she is both his cousin and cousins daughter.

I have never been able to read those books because of the small print. Plus, they are boring to me. I'll ask my daughter. She is so much a FAN of those books.

wouldn't that still technically make her serius' cousin, like his second cousin or something like that.
