how many of us really care anymore? The hype is making the game itself almost anticlimatic. Geez...we will need to see the greatest game ever played...and it still won't come close to matching the hype.
I am now hoping for a sloppy game from both teams and one that turns out to be a huge bore to watch. It would be even better if the network feed was lost in the lst quarter...and the game itself could not be televised for some odd reason because of it.

Nash....you are missing the point of the question. Only a Michigan/Buckeye fan could stand this much hype for a game that is NOT even a championship game. In case you have not been paying attention...the winner of this game will not automatically be crowned national champion. No matter how you slice or dice it...this is still just a regular season game.

Nice try David....but any idiot who follows football knows that this is a regular season game.
The winner of this game will earn the right to play in the championship game...they will not be crowned champion today. Hence...it is still a regular season game. No regular season game deserves this much hype when the only thing it decides is who get's to play for the championship.

Paleo...as I said...only a Michigan or Buckeye fan would enjoy this much hype.
Being a fan of a Big Ten school (Wisky)...I am fully aware of the rivalry.
BTW...would you actually cry if your team loses? Wow...taking this regular season game a bit too seriously aren't you?

This game was based 103 years ago and it has now become an Ohio tradition and you are trashing on it? I hope no network feed gets lost and I hope only Michigan plays a sloppy game. I still wish both teams the best of luck but OHIO STATE is going to win!

Only a non-Ohio State Michigan fan would not get the significance of this game. On any given year, no matter the rankings of either team, this is the biggest game of the year (Yes, bigger than the bowl or national championship game). This is the biggest rivalry in college football. 103 years of pure, unadulterated hatred. The fact that they are now #1 and #2, undefeated, playing for a shot at everything is plenty of reason for all the hype. It won't make any difference whether it is a good or boring game. Many people will have their season made (regardless of what happens in the national championship game)or cry like babies by the end of the night. Clearly, however, not being from either school, you cannot understand so don't bother even watching it. That way, you can avoid all the pregame hype you seem to despise. Watch the Iron Bowl instead.
By the way, you Meechigan fans are high if you think you'll be winning today. The wolverines are going to get slaughtered by the Buckeyes. Muck Fichigan!
Go Buckeyes!!!

STUPIDEST POST/QUESTION OF THE YEAR
Are you for real? You have no clue what the hell you're talking about. This is a game between the #1 and #2 teams in the nation, in the fianl week of the regular season, and just happens to be one of the oldest and fiercest rivalries in sports. Wow, I guess no one should care........
Shut the hell up. It doesn't matter how competitive the game itself is. The winner goes to the championship, what more do you want? It's still meaningful even if not close and fun to watch, and the hype is totally deserved. Both teams earned it, and it should be a great game. Watch and just enjoy the madness!

I have to admit, I lived in Ohio for a year so I'd love to see the Buckeyes lose... I wouldn't care who too!
I agree with you... something needs to happen beyond the game to bring in some excitement. Frankly, my teams done for the year and we're not in that conference (although I guess we'll be playing the Buckeyes next year in non-conference play) so I'm done with college football for now.
