that around early 1600s, in the fall, the pilgrims and natives had the thanksgiving.

their menus were :
Wild Deer
Turkey
Duck Goose
Rabbit
Clams
Lobster
Squash
Onions
Baked Pumpkin
Dried Berries
Cornbread
Cheese
Pudding (Pumpkin or Cornmeal)

The meal that the pilgrims and natives has was not thanksgiving.

Regardless of that, they had fish and wild game, whole grains, grapes and some other things.

They did not have any or most of what we think is traditonal.

From what I understand there wasn't turkey but venison.
