Justin Timberlake said at the MTV Award last year, they are the best band of the world. I think he must be a stupid dumb. the band singer sings like a slaughted donkey.

Please stop making what you think is music.
Ok...maybe one or two Coldplay you can actually listen to.
No...JT songs are worth listening to.
They should form a band.....that nobody will listen to.
Best band....hard to say. Everybody has a different opinion. I think those bands, that are classic and withstood all the different genre's that have came along...we are still recording great music, still in concert and still care about their fans. They are great bands.
Metallica, Pearl Jam.Quuensryche..., The Stones (saw the Stones last night...damn Jagger at 60 is like Jagger at 18). Bands with staying power...not one hit wonder. To me a great band does everything....and they WRITE their own music. Not perform what somebody else has written for them.

Yeah, whoever told Mr Martin he could sing was deaf. He sounds so unenthusiastic. He may write good tunes( instrumentally) and maybe the words are very deep, but I just wish he could deliver the lines like he was enjoying it. Fix you-Charming, if someone wrote that in a song about me I'd be inclined to do a bit more than Fix Them! Cheeky Sod. Yellow- all I can think of when I hear that is the time my sister had glandular fever. (although I think its his naff way of describing cowardice, god knows actually?). I turn off everytime I hear them now, too depressing

i appreciate Coldplay too, besides the undeniable fact that i encounter a number of their songs a touch boring. My favourites are fix You, The Scientist, Viva l. a. Vida and absence of existence And All His friends. Capricorn solar Leo Moon Scorpio Asc. Neptune in Capricorn

I would bet my computer that MTV paid JT to say that.
I mean with all the stuff MTV does that really wouldn't be suprising at all in my mind.
As for my own views Coldplay aren't good but they don't suck either, they have a few decent songs but that's about it.

i absolutely love coldplay but do not think they are the best band in the world,if you're talking about the best band in the world that are still together and still releasing music then how about u2,& the rolling stones,they deserve that title more than coldplay.
